Patents:Captain Jim Scully (deceased), Margaret Scully Siblings:Two brothers, Charles (Charlie) and William (Bill), and a sister Melissa who died after a single gunshot wound to the head intended for Scully. Children:William Scully Dana Katherine Scully completed an undergraduate degree in Physics from the University of Maryland before completing a medical degree. However after her medical degree she realised that she really wanted to join the FBI and so in 1992 she graduated from the FBI Training Academy in Quantico, during which time she had an open relationship with a lecturer Special Agent Jack Willis. Once she finished her training she became an instructor at the Academy before being assigned to the X-Files in 1993 where she was partnered with Special Agent Fox Mulder. However five years later she was reassigned to Quantico as an instructor before finally being reassigned to the X-Files in 1998 During her years on the X-Files Scully has been through the mill. She abducted by Duane Barry who then gave her to "unknown forces" (this was due to Anderson's real life pregnancy), despite Mulder's valiant attempts to save her. She was gone for three months before she was found again. During her missing time it was later found out that experiments had been carried out on her, which resulted in the removal of her ovum. Not long afterwards her sister Melissa was killed in Scully's apartment by men who had intended in killing the agent. Scully later found an implant in her neck and, after having it removed, got incurable cancer. Fortunately her partner refused to give up on her and finally found a cure for her although this meant putting once again a metal chip in her neck. A few years later, at Christmas, Scully discovered that a little girl named Emily was her daughter. Shocked as she was Scully immediately decided that she wanted to adopt the little girl whose parents had both been murdered. Unfortunately her request was denied due to her dangerous career and Emily's health problems. After contacting Mulder it became apparent that Emily's parents were murdered because of her, because she was part of an experiment. Emily gradually became more ill and eventually died, leaving Scully heartbroken. At the end of series of seven we found out after Mulder was abducted that Scully was pregnant. This was one of the hardest times in her life. She was assigned a new partner, John Doggett and was resolved to find Mulder. For ages it was speculated as to who the father of Scully's baby was. Was it even human? Then in a series of flashbacks it became apparent that Scully had asked Mulder to be the father of her baby. (What a treat for all the shippers!!). At the end of series eight, after finding Mulder, Scully gave birth to a healthy baby boy named William (after Mulder's father) Scully, with the help of Special Agent Monica Reyes. Scully has since left the X-Files to become a teacher at the FBI training facilities. |
