She went on the star in the feature "Mystic Pizza" with an up-and-coming Julia Roberts, but then took a four year break to study in Duke University and graduate cum laude with a degree in English. From then she began starring in many films, around thirty five in fact, such as "A Death In The Family" opposite James Cromwell; the television films "Sealed With A Kiss", "Different" opposite Lynn Redgrave; "God's New Plan"; "To Live Again"; "What Love Sees" and "Someone You Know" as well as the mini-series "Scarlett" opposite Timothy Dalton and "True Women" opposite Dana Delaney and Angelina Jolie. Annabeth jumped at the chance to play a role in the X-Files, a programme she loved watching since college. Carter was so impressed with her acting that she was asked to star in season nine. Thrilled Annabeth accepted delightedly. Since then she has delighted X-Philes by adding new blood to the show. |
